What we are working on.
What Mirador does today is under features. This is what we are developing and planning.
What is described here is the goal – scope and timing may still change. What Mirador does today is under features.
AI assistance
In development: Search by meaning
Mirador is to find requirements that mean the same thing even when they say it differently – through a vector index of your requirements.
In development: Specification from PDF and Word
Input documents – your customer’s requirements as PDF or DOCX, for example – are to become a specification with requirements and suggested attributes. You review and accept.
In development: Break requirements down
Mirador is to suggest how to break a requirement down to the next level – from system to subsystem requirements, for example – with the links in between. You decide what is accepted.
In development: Check the quality of every requirement
Mirador is to check requirements against quality characteristics such as unambiguity, verifiability and atomicity – using the criteria of ISO 26262-8:2018 (6.4.2.4) and ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148 – and show what to improve. This is not a statement of compliance with the standards.
Integration
In development: Adapter framework as an open project
The contract, test kit and template for your own adapters are to be published on GitHub – so you can connect any tool yourself.
Planned: OSLC interface
Mirador is to provide requirements through OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration) – so tools that speak OSLC, for testing or change management, for example, can link to requirements in Mirador without copying them.
Traceability
Planned: Traceability into Git
Mirador is to connect requirements and architecture elements with what lives in Git – code, tests and files – so the thread can be followed from the requirement to its implementation.
