About Wiestigo

Wiestigo develops Wiestigo Mirador – a tool that traces requirements from stakeholder to test. The young company is based in Hamburg, Germany; Mirador is its first product.

Who is behind it

Tobias Wießner founded Wiestigo, runs it as managing director and is responsible for Mirador.

When you request a demo, you will be talking to him – about your project, your tools and whether Mirador is the right fit. We get back to you by email within two working days.

Why Mirador exists

The idea grew out of Tobias Wießner’s work in the automotive industry – and out of his master’s thesis on automating workflows in requirements engineering.

There, every requirement comes with a lot of formal work: Automotive SPICE® requires system and software requirements to be consistent and traceable in both directions – to the requirements they derive from, to the architecture and to the tests – and that has to hold again after every change. Done by hand, that means linking, cross-checking, ticking off – time that is then missing from the actual content.

Mirador is meant to cut this formal work down: more time for the content, better results – because gaps and suspect links stand out on their own instead of someone having to hunt for them.

What Mirador handles today

  • 10 levels

on one board, upstream and downstream. When a requirement changes, Mirador marks its links as suspect until someone has checked them – you switch this on per link type.

    More about levels

  • 4 expectations

for checks such as “no system requirement without a test” – instead of counting by hand. Every result is kept, immutably.

    More about filters and checks

  • 15 minutes

as the shortest interval on the schedule: that is how often Mirador fetches changes from Jira and Jama – or right away, when the tool reports them.

    More about schedules

  • 3 analyses

by the AI: interfaces, features, classification – every suggestion with its evidence.

What we stand for

  • Alongside Jira and Jama, not instead of them.

A pilot project starts alongside your existing tool. Requirements sync with Jira and Jama in both directions; connect further tools through your own adapters or the REST API.

    More about integration

  • In the cloud or in your own data centre.

We operate the cloud in the EU, except for language-model services, some of which we source from US providers and none of which you have to use. In your own data centre, your data stays on your own servers – unless you connect a provider’s language model.

    More about deployment and growth

  • AI suggests. You decide.

Every suggestion shows its evidence; only what you approve goes into the specification.

    More about AI assistance

  • We also say what is missing.

The feature pages say what is not finished yet – for example, that the contract for your own adapters is not frozen yet and may change.

    More about your own adapters

  • Openly documented.

The documentation is open to everyone – even before you talk to us.
